I think an even BETTER thing about homeschooling is you can do it outside in bare feet! I spent hours reading on the roof or the porch (barefoot) - my dad just left the ladder up all the time so I could climb up whenever I wanted (provided it was daylight).
I was a fan of trees myself, barefoot of course!!
